15th Feb 2014 - Grandma's Local Food

We had dinner at Grandma's before going Robinson's to utilise my 25% off voucher. I had wanted to try the food here since I saw it at Nex last time. We love the food here and will be back again. The Chendol is very very nice !!! I guess the kids favorite must be koropok haha.

14th Feb 2014 - Happy Valentine's Day !

Every year on this day, we will be thinking where to go and we always end up at Compasspoint or somewhere near home. No choice as need to fetch kids after dinner so we only have that 1-2hrs of "peaceful dinning". This year, we are back at Compasspoint again and had planned to go Jack's Place. However, the long long queue changed our mind and we had Toast Box Curry Chicken for dinner, haha. A simple and fast dinner with your love ones can be great too. After dinner we walked around and noticed that there is a watch shop at level 2. Hubby had mentioned that he wanted to get me a watch and suggested Tissot brand 2weeks ago. I had google the design that I like online but is not available in SG. Nevertheless, I tried on a few Tissot watches and also Seiko watches and finally decided on Tissot. The sales staff gave hubby some discount which should be better than getting from Tissot boutique itself. Thank you hubby for the gift and I love it, muaks.

Lastly, thanks for been my valentine for the past 16 years and many more years to go......

13th Feb 2014 - Department CNY Lunch

Similar to last few years, we had our department CNY Lunch & lo hei. We have a new colleague coming on board so this is consider his welcome lunch too. Lunch @ Din Tai Feng this year, something different from the usual set menu. Hope to have a smooth smooth year ahead with big big bonus hahaha, not forgetting everyone must be healthy & happy :)

12th Feb 2014 - Lunch Treat

My colleague gave us a treat today. She finally rent out her apartment after 3-4 months of viewing ! Market is not really good so consider herself lucky to still have chance to rent out her apartment. Feeling generous, she treated us to lunch today. At the same time, we gang up to make fun of another colleague. Shall not elaborate more on that. Thanks for the treat and "congrats" to her hehe.

9th Feb 2014 - Sunday, CNY Day 10

Usual Sunday for us except Melcolm's godma came CNY visiting at night. Melcolm really grow alot as commented by his godma. I think in no time, he will be taller than his godma ! Elyssa is getting prettier as compared to last time. Time really flies with kids !!!!

9th Feb 2014 - Capsules finally arrived !

1st time ordering online via Nespresso website and maybe the last time !

I'm supposed to receive this yesterday but they were 1 day late. Not even they did not deliver on time, they didn't even call me yesterday that they are not delivering. They only call and inform they will be late and after that MIA. As I'm busy with guest yesterday, I only manage to contact them to check around 8+pm. By that timing, they cant do much so I waited till today. Once again in the morning, I waited but nobody call. Called them around 11am and the staff who answer said he's just about to call me !!! He told me delivery postpone to today same timing. Oh well, as if they know I will be home ! Requested to speak to their manager tomorrow and I wonder will he/she call. Am going to listen to what they have to say !!! A bad bad experience !!!

8th Feb 2014 - CNY Gatherings with SMBC Colleagues

A busy busy day for us as my colleagues coming over to see see our new place cum CNY lo-hei. We'll be having pot luck and I will be preparing beehoon. 1st time I fry 2 packets of beehoon at 1 shot ! Wok too small and is really not easy. Luckily my beehoon still taste ok with the help of the 2 cans of pork leg hahaha ;) 1st batch of guests left around 5+pm and we start to clear up.

Part 2 - My ex neighbour aka my colleague came over at night with another colleague. Watched abit of soccer *both my colleague & hubby Liverpool fans* and their fav. team won !!

Oh ya, strike small small 4D today ! Huat ah !!! A good start for the year of the Horse :)
