Happy New Year Eve

Today finally the last day of 2007 !! Time flies !! Most fruitful to have Melcolm in 2007 and sad tat haven found a job yet. Is ok, hope 2008 can be better :)

Wake up as usual with the daily routine but today will do some packing and change bedsheet to welcome 2008 hehe. Today gona let Melcolm try new food - Potato puree. I will mix the potato puree with carrot in case he cant accept the taste of potato.

During feeding, he seems very disinterested. Opps, he don't like potatoes, he give me an unhappy face when I feed him and push out some of his food. Today is the first day so i shall see how's the progress next few days. He only managed to finish 1/2 his puree.

Came evening time hubby was back. Initially plan to go Bishan la kopi but after tat decided not too as Melcolm was sleeping so soundly, "bu she de" wake him up. However, i still couldnt stop complaining to hubby it was so boring hahaha. My friend Shirley and hubby and baby Jonathan drop by during evening time too. It was the first time I met baby jon jon. He was huge !! A hyper active baby too, even when I carry him he still want to move here and there haha. No wonder his parents called him a "monster" *wink wink*. Since is New Year 2mr, I hadtook out 2 sets of new clothes for Melcolm to wear to welcome 2008. He will be wearing a new set of pyjamas *see above pics with baby Jon* and a new set of clothes tomorrow, hahaha, bo liaoz mummy :p hopefully the clothes wont be too big on him yeah...

Hubby Graduation Photoshoot

Today is the day, hubby graduation photoshoot !

Morning wake up and get ready as need to leave house in the early afternoon. Tried to let Melcolm sleep as much as he can b4 we step out the house so he wont be so cranky later on as is difficult to put him to slp outside.

Reached the studio abt 3pm. Checked with the ppl there whether any gown for Melcolm to wear but they say he's too small, so no choice, he will jus wear his own clothes for the photoshoot. Went to the make up room to have a simple makeup, shld had done the makeup at home myself, don like the makeup they did and they're not very professional also. Anyway, is over so shall not grumble. While hubby was dressing up, quickly took some pics ourself but the ppl there keep saying we cant use our camera there, i simply bo chap :p continue taking. When everyone were ready, we proceed to the studio to take the family portrait and hubby oso took individual shots. The photographer had a hard time getting Melcolm to focus ! Hubby had selected 30R for the family portrait and 14R for individual, total cost $700+, super ex man.. no choice, is a once in a lifetime kinda ting.

After we left the studio, proceed to Suntec as will be having dinner there. Went to Carrefour walk walk then proceed to Pearl River Palace at 6pm to have our dinner there. Resturant not open yet so waited outside for like 1/2hr and trying to make Melcolm sleep.

Had our dinner there and Melcolm wide awake inside the resturant, slept for awhile nia :( Took turns to carry him inside the resturant as he don 1 2 stay in his stroller. Seems like the 2 toys I attached was not able to keep him in there. The food was average but like the Buddha Jump Over The Wall Soup, steam prawns, black pepper beef. Ordered lots of other dishes as well cos is buffet hehe. I eat until very full man.

After dinner sent PIL's home and went Melcolm's godma house to collect my Choc & Spice muffins *she sms me in the morning to go collect but I no time*. Thanks for the muffins. Reached home already 10+pm, wat a tiring day !

TGIF

TGIF, finally wkns coming !!

Feeling abit boring at home so decided to go Compasspoint with Melcolm & my mum walk walk awhile in the late morning.

Reached Compasspoint and went to Metro look c look c any gd buy, nothing much as most of the items are 20% off. Bought Melcolm a toy hope he likes it. After that went Best Denki to check out on blender and slow cooker. Still not sure whether shld buy blender or not, considering but hav a few gd recommendations frm Aug thread mummies on Braun handheld blender. Saw the Braun blender and it was huge, considering buying that if can't find other good ones. After that went to Kiddy Palace walk walk, nothing much to buy there. Took some pics and went home after that as Melcolm not very cooperative, keep wanting ppl to carry :(

Reached home and had late lunch. Mum cook plain porridge today so i "kar pok" 1 soup spoon of porridge intend to let Melcolm try. I mixed the porridge with the sweet potato puree and he finished everything, yeah so happy :)

Melcolm's CNY Wear

Today received Melcolm's CNY wear that I ordered thr BP. Wow, is too big for him :( I think he can even wear this during the year 2009 CNY. However, I still couldn't resist and try the clothes on him. Take a look at the pics below and you know wat I meant by BIG. Melcolm was very happy the moment he saw the "ang kong kong" cny wear until he wear it, maybe he knows is his clothes hehe..

Nothing much to update today but Melcolm had his new puree - Sweet Potato Puree. I added water after grinding the sweet potato to mix to a smooth consistency. First look, is quite similar to those Heinz food jar hehe. First taste Melcolm gave me a weird expression, however he accept the taste very fast and finish all the puree, hurray... all i can say is he loves sweet potato. I had also changed his feeding spoon to a smaller 1 hopefully he can eat better.

Ho Ho Ho.... Merry Christmas to all !!! My 1st Xmas with Melcolm too !!!

Morning Melcolm wake up abt 8am, luckily hubby volunteer for the feed so I can sleep longer. I'm not having enuf sleep cos my mum wasnt around for the past 1wk+. Slept until 10am then wake up, so shiok :) Hubby still ask me got sleep boh don waste his efforts kekeke. Btw, I'm those who don nap, also difficult 2 get back to slp after wake up tats y he veri scared i no slp.

Took over from hubby and he order Mac for bf, haa he ordered the bundle meal and we machiam had a big feast ! In the end, still managed to finish all the food keke.. anyway is our brunch. After brunch get back to do the daily routine and get ready to go to my cousin baby shower in the evening.

Reached my cousin place abt 6+pm. She's staying with her in-laws and the condo was big but quite old already. Listen to her baby cry reminds me of Melcolm last few mths. However, I didnt carry her baby cos scared i too "chu1 lu3" and hurt her son, jus took a few pics hehe.. Melcolm was veri cooperative, he didnt cry at all and still can smile at my auntie when she carry him. My auntie so excited, commented so loud "he can smile leh" haha.. Took some pics with Melcolm at the balcony of the condo too...

Left cousin place abt 8pm and feed Melcolm inside the car. He fell asleep after his milk milk and reach home so happy and active again faintz. Since he so good mood, i join in the fun and play with him haha.. look at the video...

Thats about all for Xmas. Though no celebration but happy to have hubby & Melcolm during this xmas :) 1st xmas with melcolm and many more to com yeah....

Merry Christmas Eve

Ho Ho Ho.... is Merry Xmas Eve already.... so fast hor.. this year I'm not working so abit boring during daytime as alone at home with little Melcolm. Evening time start preparing dressing Melcolm as we had a little gathering at SIL friend place to enjoy the xmas mood ! Hope Melcolm enjoy his 1st Xmas party !

Reached Stella's place and there were lots of food. I think still enuf for New Year eve party too. However, Melcolm start to cry n cry liaoz.. haiz.. think is too noisy n crowded and he not used to the environment too. Somemore so many ppl carry him, he's like a "ball" been passed here n there haha.. Luckily still managed to take some pics with him before leaving, of cos not forgetting to lucky pick our xmas pressies...

Melcolm having Carrot Puree

Today managed to take a video of Melcolm having his carrot puree as hubby was at home hee. I still think that he don't really like carrot but will see how his reaction for the last two days. However, he managed to finish abt 3/4 of the puree. Here's a video of him having his messy meal keke....




Amy came to pass me Xmas presents today too, was surprised that she bought present for me, *paiseh paiseh* cos i didnt bought any for her. Thanks gal for the gift.


The 2 sets of clothes are for Melcolm that Amy hubby bought from Shanghai and the Esprit towel is for me. Amy say she bought blue cos in case i don like, Melcolm can use, faintz...




Also had steamboat for dinner at IL's place today as BIL was back from AUS already. However, Melcolm wasn't realli cooperative today, kept crying non stop there.. haiz.. guess every1 cant enjoy the steamboat in peace. BIL bought Melcolm a soft toy too - AUS Custom Dog. haa didnt know that their custom dog so cute 1 leh..

Happy "Tang Yuan Day" to all

Today is "Dong Zhi", day for eating "Tang Yuan". Wake up at 8am, bath and feed Melcolm. After that went to boil the "tang yuan", 1st time in my life to boil "tang yuan", last time my mum boil and I eat haha.. however, i still prefer those traditional ones whereby you made the tang yuan urself.. Here's a pic of my peanut "tang yuan".... After tat went pump milk and prepare Melcolm for his next feed - Carrot Puree. Today is the first time feeding him carrot puree, luckily he manage to finish all the puree. Still not sure whether he likes carrot or not cos he got eh eh eh abit while eating. Didnt manage to take any video as need to rush to ICA building to change my IC before it closes at 1230pm. Will feed him carrot for the next 3 days to test for allegy. His carrot puree,Get ready and left house abt 12pm to ICA building, feed Melcolm on our way. Reached ICA after 1230pm, luckily still can change my IC. Quickly go take my IC foto and Melcolm taken his passport foto there too :) They oso use Bumbo chair there for bb foto taking haa so funi. Melcolm's passport foto was so fat and chubby, my god. Changed my IC and submitted the passport appln form for Melcolm, will have to go back and collect his passport when ready. Time is already 2pm, super hungry.

Left ICA building and head to Marina Sq for lunchy, went foodcourt and had my Tomyam Soup with some dim sum. Aiyo, Melcolm poo poo :( Went to L2 nursing room to change him then continue my lunch. After lunch, is almost feeding time again, went back to the nursing room to feed him, took some pics inside too hee. The nursing rm is simple and nice and clean. Melcolm is able to sit for awhile by himself, am so happy.

Finish feeding Melcolm and went to JL as they having 20% off storewide ! Stock up on some toiletries and oso bought JL house brand if bbwipes at oni 3 packs of 80s for $4.40 after 20% off. Hopefully Melcolm is suitable using them and in future can consider stocking up haa.. Went home after JL, wat a tiring day !
