31st Aug 2014 - Sunday @ Home

We stayed at home the whole day and afternoon we start to get our hands working on Teacher's Day gift. I bought Manuku honey for all their teachers. Seriously, don't know what to buy so bought honey again. Melcolm drew a card for his form teacher and chinese teacher. He wrote on the mini tag cards that I created too. Melson managed to write his name on the card, good job ! Hope both their teachers like the gift.

30th Aug 2014 - Comex

The every 3 months PC show is finally at Suntec, usually it is at Expo. Time to get myself a lappy?? I had been using my current lappy for many years. Not only the screen had spoilt, it was ultra, super slow. Probably, that was one of the reason why I can use until fallen asleep hehe. Anyway, since this current lappy is free I shouldn't complain so much. I had popped by Comex on Thursday to collect the brochures so as to shortlist the model I want. Today, brought 2 kids along with hubby to check where to get the best deal. We spent a few hours there and sweat man, so crowded !!! Finally got what I want at Best Denki booth but need to pre-order as OOS zzzzz. Since I'm not in a rush to have it, made payment and off we get out of Comex. Dinner, dessert and let the kids play for awhile before we go back home. Tiring day !!

23rd Aug 2014 - Singapore Garden Festival

My brother called me yesterday night that he had 4 complimentary tickets to Singapore Garden Festival and asked whether we are interested to go with him and mum. Of cos I am and we only need to buy 2 tickets for the kids which cost around $7 each after some discount. We set off around 3+pm, hoping that it wont be so sunny and crowded in the late afternoon but we were so wrong. Upon reaching, all carparks full !!! I had to queue for awhile to get tickets for kids and we even had to queue up to enter to Flower Dome !!! It was super duper crowded and we didn't expect that zzzzz !! I'm wondering most visitors are tourist or really local Singaporeans who are so interested to see the flowers in there. It was an eye opener to me as those flowers awarded are really nice. Lots of people are snapping and snapping away. As it was getting late when we left, we did not visit the Children's Garden and both kids are so disappointed. We head back to our friendly neighbourhood aka Buangkok MRT kopitiam and had "zichar" for dinner. Food was nice and we were so full !!!
