The Skill Of Clapping

Melcolm finally mastered the skill of clapping, find it so cute ! Now he know how to do all these actions - clap hand, no more, bye bye, twinkle twinkle, hand patting on mouth but i don tink is kiss kiss haha

28th Jul 08 - Monday

Today was so touched ! My big boss from Japan came and bought a gift for Melcolm. He wishes Melcolm Happy 1 year old ! Though is not a big gift, am touched by this little gesture of him. He actually took the effort to remember. Also received my confirmation letter, finally 6mths had passed and I'm officially a confirmed staff now, yeah :)

At night brought Melcolm for his pneumococcal jab. He wail and scream for a few seconds and back to normal, more like angry. Will be taking more jabs in months to come.

26th to 27th Jul 08

Today is just another Saturday. Nothing new but spent most of the time playing with Melcolm at home. This few days noticed that Melcolm had some new languages and phrases, so funi. At night went Compasspt Sakae for dinner as craving for sashimi again. After that Melcolm had his 1st kiddy ride haha. He seems to enjoy pressing on the buttons of the kiddy ride until he totally forgot the ride is moving lol.

20th Jul 08 - Sunday

Melcolm finally can crawl correctly liaoz *after so many mths* slow hor, but is ok, so long he is healthy !!!

19th Jul 08 - Saturday

Although is Saturday but oledi veri sian cos Monday blues attacking me liaoz :( Morning faster finish some work and cook porridge for Melcolm using the new claypot that mil bought, great ! Abt 1+pm, we left house to drop Melcolm then off we go to J8 again to catch "Batman, The Dark Knight". Is a 2.5hr show so we bought coffee and some snacks to munch. The "Joker" in the show seems quite scary and wonder will kids in the cinema have nitemare after watching him ! Show was not too bad but I tink the previous Batman Begins was nicer. Batman was still as handsome as ever ! Will there be Batman 3?? I'll watch it if there is.

After dinner, we went to buy highchair at hougang point and tabao dinner. Will be passing my mum 1 of the highchair as is too dangerous for Melcolm 2 sit in Bumbo & Bamboo chair now.

That's all about Saturday... waiting for more movies marathon, aiming for somemore nice movies - X-files, Mummy, Money Not Enough 2 etc etc...

First Family Getaway at Sentosa - 17th to 18th Jul 08

After the photoshoot, we make our way to Sentosa. Had booked a 2d 1n stay at Siloso Beach Resort. Here's a summary of our programme highlights for the 2d 1n stay.

- Reached the resort about 3+pm.
- Feed Melcolm and try to make him to nap.
- Melcolm only rest for awhile and we had late lunch abt 4+pm at Delifrance.
- After Delifrance, we proceed to Underwater World at 5+pm.- Went back room about 6+pm and Melcolm was really tired.
- Melcolm slept for abt an hour and we left room abt 8pm to catch the "Songs of the Sea" musical laser show at 8.40pm.
- Show ended around 9+pm and we went for dinner at 1 of the restaurant along Siloso beach.
- Day ended at 10+pm, back to room and let Melcolm slp.


- Day 2 and Melcolm wake up super early around 8am while we laze in bed.
- Had our buffet bf around 9am then we brought him to Siloso beach for a walk.
- Reached the room and get ready for swimming at 11am.
- It was close to 12pm after we bath Melcolm after his swim and he nap till 1pm.
- Check out at 1pm+ and bye bye to our 2d1n stay.

It was really tiring with Melcolm around but was a different experience that we never try before. We discovered that Melcolm was really veri timid through this stay, some of the tings he's afraid off,

1) The beach
2) Underwater World Big Fishes
3) Fireworks
4) Sudden Loud Sound or Music

Discovered that he loves to watch animals in Sentosa like monkeys & peacocks. So does it means that he prefers to go Singapore Zoo?? We shall see !
