Visit to Marina Barrage

We visit Marina Barrage today and hubby also travel by the new route - KPE. It was a long tunnel and Melcolm was enjoying the tunnel lights on the way ! Some history about Marina Barrage - Built across the mouth of the Marina Channel, the Marina Barrage creates Singapore’s 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city. With a catchment area of 10,000 hectares, or one-sixth the size of Singapore, the Marina catchment is the island’s largest and most urbanised catchment. Together with two other new reservoirs, the Marina Reservoir will boost Singapore’s water catchment from half to two-third’s of the country’s land area.

We reached around 6+pm and it was very crowded. I suppose so as it was just opened this month. The waterplay area was big but didnt let Melcolm play as it was dark already. I will want to go back again to let him enjoy the waterplay there :) Also, would like to walk up the bridge to view the scenary. Nevertheless, Melcolm still enjoy himself looking at the colorful water display with lightings.

After that we went Jalan Kayu to tabao soyamilk, beancurd, you-tiao and oso prata ! What a sinful dinner we had !
