Day 7 : Canberra 30th Apr 09

Today is shopping day. Mummy aka me was the person who look forward the most to this day hehe. We went to "DFO" aka the factory outlet in Canberra. There were many many shops there. All of us have our own loots at the end of the day though not many. I bought mostly lingerie & Melcolm's clothes. Hubby bought 2 shirts. Melcolm also have fun at the play area !

Day 6 : Canberra 29th Apr 09

Today was quite a relaxed day for us. We had Vietnamese lunch near SIL's apartment. Good service from the restaurant, maybe SIL is regular there hehe. After lunch, we went to a nearby lake to feed the ducks. There were many many ducks and we do not have enough food for all of them for sure. Now Melcolm will say "feed ducks" when we talk to him sometimes.

After feeding ducks, went to Big W to get some stuff. They have self-paying machine there *cute*. Next stop we went to "Mount Ainslie". At Mount Ainslie, we will be able to see the whole of Canberra from the top. Beautiful and nice sunset view too.

Night time we went to a clubhouse for dinner. They have jackpot machines there but we didn't play lah... reason been.... a-hem... we played jackpot at the clubhouse near SIL place wahahaha.. oways went there at night after Melcolm sleeps but i oways lose $$ lol.. sians...

Day 5 : Canberra 28th Apr 09

Today is officially our 1st day in Canberra. We will be staying here until we leave Aus. Started off in the morning exploring SIL's balcony and viewing the surroundings.

First stop we went to "Mount Stromlo Observatory Visitor's Centre", only took a few pics there and left for our lunch picnic at a very quiet and ulu park. I love the park, the parrots there and of cos the autumn trees - is red & yellow color !

Next stop we went to "Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve", saw lots of kangaroos, some other animals *forgot the name liaoz*, no luck to meet any koala bear though. After that we went back home as SIL will be preparing dinner for all of us. Yes, we finally have home cook food today and is yummy ! Missed Singapore food already *a-hem*.
