Day 9 : Merimbula 2nd May 09

This morning when I wake up, there's already a "Trevally" in the sink. Hubby & BIL left the cottage at around 5am to the lake for fishing and he caught it! The fish looks like golden pomfret to me haha. Talking abt fishing in Aus, you need to apply for license, if the fish you caught is not big enough, you need to release it and different fish have different length limit so you need to have a reference guide during fishing. Haa very different from SG hor. SIL prepare Aus breakfast for us and also pan fried the Trevally.

After breakfast, we went to the nearby beach and let Melcolm play. The beaches in Aus were really nice. Water was clean & clear with very soft & fine sand. We then went to "Wheelers Oysters Farm" for lunch. I felt that the oysters in Sydney Fish Market still nicer. However they have really nice desserts ! After lunch we went back to cottage to rest as SIL needs to prepare for dinner & hubby & BIL going fishing again to try their luck.
