Swimming Day

For the past few wkns, we had been staying at home as I feel tired and lazy to go out. Furthermore, always feel like vomiting :( This week am getting better so the plan for today was, if it rains, we'll go Ikea. If it doesn't, we'll be heading for a swim.

Around 4+pm, we set off to Sengkang Swimming Complex as weather was good. It had been quite sometime since we last brought Melcolm for a swim *can't even remember when was the last time*. As usual, it took awhile for us to find a parking lot as that place was forever crowded during the wkns. We met mei and family at the carpark too, so "qiao" hor. After that in the swimming pool, I met my colleague and his 2 boys ! Melcolm enjoyed the swim very much, cried when is time to leave and also very grouchy on way back. Guess he don't want to go home yet hahaha.

Our New Toaster

I bought a toaster at JL for only $20 bucks ! Made tuna with cheese bread toast this morning. Yummy is the word ! We just love melted cheese and so do Melcolm :)

3rd Visit to ACJ

Today will be a busy day for us at Thomson Medical Centre. 1st stop is to apply the Subsequent Born Incentive card. 2nd stop to do Oscar Scan & also blood test. 3rd stop visit gynae. Reached there abt 12+pm and by the time we leave was abt 2+pm. A rainy day of events to recap.......

After applying SBI card, went up to lvl 4 for Oscar Scan. Melcolm kept running at the area *BTH*, argh. Everything was alright for the measurements taken during the oscar scan *happy*, however, still need to cross check with the blood test results for best accuracy. For the 1st time, all of us including Melcolm saw #2 sucking his/her fingers inside. It was a funny sight haha. Baby was active and moving here and there inside. Baby had grown to 6cm :)

After Oscar and blood test, we proceed to gynae appt and she did a scan again. Based on current size of baby, am currently 12wks3days preggy and EDD had been pushed forward to 31st Mar 10. She also mentioned that she don't see anything stick out in btw baby legs so at the moment the gender is a GIRL, wahahha. She will check again during my next visit as now is still too early to tell hehe. Will Melcolm have a "di di" or "mei mei", we shall see.

*It was funny to hear dr wong speak Mandarin cos my mum was around and she don't understand English. I shall say Mandarin mixed with English, hehe*

Backdated SURPRISE !

Short, simple and sweet - we'll be having a "Tigger" baby in year 2010 :) I was tested positive on 23rd Jul 09, just a few days after Melcolm's 2yr old birthday hee. Melcolm gonna be promoted to big kor kor already :) I hope he can take care his didi/meimei together with us.

Some of my friends might already knew so is not surprise anymore lah hehe.. here's some of the pics and post that I had recorded down previously for memory sake. Ask me how's my feeling for having #2, well, is hard to describe.. we're definately happy but on the other hand, lots of worries too, eg, unable to cope with 2, siblings jealousy, and of cos many many more. Anyway, no need to worry so much now, when it comes, will know what to do haha... counting down to 2010 !

23rd Jul 09 - tested positive but faint line ! Will we be having a Tigger???

24th Jul 09 - tested again today and line was more obvious. Made appt to see gynae on 4th Aug 09 *excited*. Hubby was even more gan cheong then me this time hee..

25th Jul 09 - at Suntec for dinner, pass by Spring Maternity and saw that they are having sales.. grab 1 halter neck dress and a skirt, both add up to $50 nia.. very happy :)

26th Jul 09 - bo liao me tested again today as I still have a few strips left :p

2nd Aug 09 - tested again this morn and the double line came out very fast in seconds.. now can't wait for tues to come to c dr wong :)

4th Aug 09 - finally the day for the check up had arrived. Made appt at 10am to see dr wong. Upon arriving at TMC, we were asked to scan on temperature due to the recent H1N1 virus. We waited for around 30-45mins at ACJ, not too bad for wkdays. When I step into Dr Wong's room, immediately she ask me gd news or routine check hahaha. Told her is gd news and she congratulate me and start to go thr the same process when I had Melcolm. After that, she proceed with ultra sound scan and we saw the waterbag. She requested for v-scan to have a clearer check and the waterbag was 12mm only. Am 5wks preggy already. No sight of bb or heartbeat as she mentioned is still early. I will need to see her again 2wks later. After the scan, she explain some details to us just to recap our memory and play with Melcolm for awhile. She asked Melcolm is he a good or notti boy and Melcolm actually answer her notti boy wahaha.. damn funny. She still remember Melcolm as the "somersult" boy who turned in my tummy even with little water in my waterbag previously. Will be starting my pre-natal multi-vits 2mr frm her. Hope the next checkup will see bb + heartbeat.

5th Aug 09 - Back to office today, handed my MC to boss and also break the news to him I was preggy since I need to take MC most of the time for my gynae appt. At first he thought I want to resign haha funny boss. Am glad that they areall very supportive and congratuate me :) My female boss even ban me from doing all those heavy duty stuff. I really appreciate having them as colleagues in my dept. Now just hope my journey of pregnancy for #2 will be smooth and he/she will be healthy.

10th Aug 09 - wanted to mark this day down as it was the 1st time #2 start to feast quietly inside me with lobster, crabs etc at Jumbo today hehe. Such a lucky baby :p

19th Aug 09 - 2nd checkup today, excited cos suppose to see bb and heartbeat. Today was good, when we reached we can see dr wong immediately, no need to wait at all, really 1st time man ! Baby was 11.9mm with heartbeat and waterbag had increased from 12mm to 3cm. EDD was suppose to be 4th Apr 2010 but gynae say is still early so not accurate. Btw, 4th Apr is me and hubby 11yrs 6mths together hehe. Everything was fine except my blood pressure was too low so gotta monitor. Chat with Dr wong awhile abt 1st pregnancy so she said #2 must be careful in case pre-term again. Next appt will be in 1mth time and will be doing blood test and oscar scan at the same time. Will sign up SBI (Subsequent Born Incentive) and also gynae package.

23rd Aug 09 - today #2 was officially 8wks old. I had not been eating and sleeping well, feeling tired all day long :( Luckily hubby had been a great help around doing most of the things for Melcolm. This pregnancy was really tougher compared to Melcolm's time. Now I just wish that baby will be growing well inside me.. :)

29th Aug 09 - have abit of brown discharge in the morning. Luckily it stop after that so will monitor. If serious will go see gynae. 2mr will be wk 9, peak of MS starting :(

6th Sep 09 - wk 10, i seem to start eating more for the last few days esp during lunch.. however, dinner was still little, oways have that vomit feeling :( counting down to end of 1st trimester.... 2 more wks, yippie.

15th Sep 09 - wk 11+, am down with sorethroat, runny nose and slight fever today. No energy at all :( hope I will recover fast.
