After consideration, finally decided to let Melcolm go for his 1st school excursion. I wanted him to have fun with his classmates and teachers and I'm glad he did. While walking back to his school and I'm outside waiting to pick him up, he shouted "Mama mama" with a big big smile when he saw me :) His teacher told me when he's at the fish farm doing "longkang" fishing, he was so excited that his legs went into the water with his socks on, very gan cheong ! Overall, is a good experience for him :)
