30th Oct 2013 - MC

Am down with flu and slight sorethroat since Monday. Decided to go and see doctor today before it get worse since we will be travelling again on Sunday. A nua-ing day at home. Rest and nap till 12+pm then went to tabao lunch. After that boil some barley water and went CP to run errands. Reached home and start to update and consolidate the items we bought so far for 2nd nest. Hopefully next week we can see the 3D drawing hehehe... looking forward :) Oct is coming to an end and Nov is here. Time really passby so fast !! Can start to countdown to both our boys concert, am sure they will entertain us with their performance wahaha.

28th Oct 2013 - 1st Buying Appointment

Reached HDB around 8.40am and we went to have a quick brekkie since appointment at 9.15am. Luckily HDB wasn't very crowded today and we only need to wait for awhile. Finished everything quite fast and we proceed to law firm to settle the rest of the paperwork. Signed lots of documents there.... sign & sign.... sign & forget hahaha... After that we went to see our agent office, "tour" 1 round and was 11+am already. Next, we went to Maybank to apply internet banking, atm card and also deposit $. Long queue and very slow and took us slightly more than an hour. We had lunch @ Toa Payoh and proceed on to PS to get hob and hood. Bought extended warranty for both items too since the standard warranty only last 1 year. Need to get use to the new "touch panel" of hob and hood since there isn't any knob on the hob now to turn on and off. Settled everything by 4pm and we head back home. Thunderstorm along the way home and I also start to fall sick :( Suddenly having runny nose and throat pain. Hope can recover before wkns since already planned our programs. It was a last minute plan as usual with my 2 friends. Looking forward and counting down :)

27th Oct 2013 - Shopping around

No program today so last minute decided to go Loyang Cellini Flagship Store. Actually I had visited their Suntec branch but not much items on display. The flagship store is good. There is a children play area while we shop. The area is so much bigger and more display too. Shortlisted a few items but not buying yet until we see our 3D drawing.

When Melcolm went for his usual swimming class, home alone for me and Melson. Asked him to show me his year end concert performance and he finally did it. It was so funny !!! He never fail to make me laugh :)

26th Oct 2013 - More Items Bought

Wake up around 9am and started our day with marketing in the morning and shopping for more items for our 2nd nest in the afternoon. 1st stop to Expo to order the laundry system from hubby's friend at TAME Promotions. He gave us a better price compared to the showroom price the lady offered us last week. Bought the manual pulley system instead of the automated one since he mentioned the manual type was most durable and sellable. Automated type was convenient and nice but I feel that the price was too high.

Next stop we went to Megastore at United Square to order aircon, TV, sound bar and fridge. Yes, we're going to have a white color fridge ! It will be my 1st time having a white color fridge and hope it can blend into the kitchen color theme the ID planned :)  Of cos I chose a 4 tick and inverter fridge too since it will be an appliance that will be on 24x7. Managed to settle everything around 5+pm and we went to Compasspoint Canton Paradise for dinner. Luckily there wasn't any queue when we reached and we are done with dinner around 7+pm. Last stop to KP to buy birthday present for my mum's neighbour grandson and the boys also "ordered" their Tomica car. They start to buy Tomica car now and no more hot wheels zzzzz..... Home Sweet Home after that and will continue our shopping tmr if we're not lazy wahaha.

24th Oct 2013 - 1st Payment

This whole week had been a busy week. Today, we meet up with ID after work to re-sign our revised quotation and settle the 1st payment. Had been "bargaining" on the quotation price for the last few days and managed to save a few K's. We discussed on the work schedule too. Next meetup will be tiles selection and also to purchase bathroom accessories if time permits. Am now super looking forward to the 3D drawing 2 weeks later. Told the designer to throw in her ideas and we will see whether we like.

20th Oct 2013 - More shopping......

Continue from yesterday shopping..... Actually wanted to go Megastore to order aircon, fridge and TV but end up we spend too much time at Courts. After visiting Sealy & Simmons shops yesterday, we went down to Courts to check the price as well. Both the promoters for Sealy & Simmons were nice and friendly, so much better then those shopping centres staff that I had met. We were considering between these 2 brands and in the end bought Simmons. Since we already have a Sealy mattress and are bringing over to new place, decided to buy something different. Furthermore, Simmons headboard and frame are so much nicer than Sealy ones. Patrick, the senior promoter at Simmons recommended 2 models which are worth buying. Tried on both the mattress and we finally bought Beautyrest Supremo together with the frame and headboard. I managed to "bargain" for 3 pillows and 2 mattress protectors FOC. He is nice to try to request "extra" items from his boss for us. After mattress shopping, we went to see fridge but Courts don't carry Hitachi brand. However, saw 1 Samsung white color fridge that we quite like, very eye catchy :) Shortlist this fridge and shall see can Megastore offer me a better price hahaha. Reached home around 6+pm and is still raining. Nice cooling night and is Monday tmr..... 5 working days..... zzzzz

19th Oct 2013 - West side shopping

Had planned to go west side (IMM and The Furniture Mall) to look around today. After lunch at home, we spent a few hours to walk through that area. Frankly speaking, nothing much there but managed to shortlist a few items that we might be getting. Don't think we'll be going back there again unless we really want to get something as IMM was very crowded due to all the outlet stores. Lots of people went there to shop haaa. Maybe I should go there to shop next year when I'm more free hehehe. The Furniture Mall was worse, not many shops and I find it deserted. Wonder the shops there can survive?? We had early dinner at IMM food court and packet "Black Balls" home to try. Nice to try once but don't think I will be buying again cos I only like the glass jelly. Home sweet home around 8pm and more shopping tmr !

18th Oct 2013 - Admin Day

An exiting day ! Reached Rosyth School around 9+am to settle all the administrative stuff and also at the same time purchase name tags, uniforms, PE attire and school text books etc. Reached home around 11+am, rest awhile, had lunch and started to check the stuff we bought whether is it complete. Primary school books are so colorful now ! Unlike our books last time, dull and boring haha. After packing everything, start with my ironing and complete in 2hrs. Went Compasspt for haircut as weather was so hot lately and my hair as usual keep dropping :( Did my 1st scalp treatment and not sure any help or not.After haircut walk around and head back home. Another long day tmr.... *window shopping
