14th Sep 2013 - What a Weekend !!!

Wake up and check on Melcolm's wound. The swell had gone down by a bit but he still can't open his eyes fully. Felt rather uneasy to see him like that. Watsapp some of my frends to ask about KK and Mount A as we are not so sure which one to go to. Thanks for their advise *you know who you are* ! We went to KKH in the end as they will have all the facilities for tests or scans on a weekend.

Reached KKH Children's Emergency around 4pm. We were been attended to immediately. Think they see that Melcolm's bump was quite big and let him see dr 1st? Good for us as no need to queue like mad. Dr suggested to do a skull xray to just double check. After xray, dr called us in again and this time there were 2 dr's. The more "senior" dr explained to us that the xray scan wasn't really good and they need to seek advise from radiologist :( Nothing much we can do but just wait. In between the wait, nurses attended to Melcolm and clean his wound. Brave boy didn't cry at all although he was alone with the nurses. We waited for close to 2hrs for the radiologist to confirm that his eyes are ok for the skull xray. *Big PHEW * !!!! Proceed on to collect medicines, have our dinner at food court and head back home.....

What a tiring weekend !!!!! Hopefully his wound recover fast fast.....
