29th Nov 2013 - PTC and detail drawing discussion

It is the year end PTC review for both boys today. All went well for both boys and not much difference on the comments previously from June. Melcolm is ready to move on to P1 but need to take note on his chinese and to be able to remain focus and concentrate on his work. Teacher Teresa commented that he may have some qualities of been a leader based on her observation in class. Let's see ! For Melson, Teacher Leen said that sometimes during lesson, his mind will wonder somewhere. Is he day dreaming? hahaha... will take note on that and hope in N2 this will not happen. Went Serangoon Central to walk walk and bought some household stuff for new house. It is cheaper there :) After that proceed to meet ID to discuss about detail drawing. A rather long and tiring process I must say. Guess we spent about 4-5hrs there !!! Finally settled !! Managed to get spare lock from ID as we'll be getting keys next week liao. Suddenly so fast !!! Looking forward to that and reno to start :)

28th Nov 2013 - 3D Drawing (Revised)

ID finally sent all the amended 3D drawing after I keep rushing her haha. I guess she must be damn busy and overloaded !! Am quite happy with the revised drawing and hope the end product will be similar. No need to be 100% similar but should not have alot of difference.

Oh ya, agent finally received the 2nd valuation that we did last week and luckily the amount is still the same. He can finally have a peace of mind enjoying his holiday in HK !

24th Nov 2013 - Sunday

Nothing much today so we continue our packing in the afternoon and visited Mei Mei at KKH in the late afternoon. Unable to see her twin babies as they were born premature and at NICU now. Hope both boys grow well and be able to discharge soon with Daddy, Mummy & their kor kor at home. I know the tiredness of travelling to hospital daily ! After that went home to cook dinner and weekends are over.... *bluey mode on*

23rd Nov 2013 - Packing begins !

Yesterday, hubby had just confirmed on the movers that we will be engaging for our move and boxes arrived today ! That also means we can start packing from now on. I had checked that we are left with 6 weekends to pack excluding this weekend. There are still ample time but is better to start early, don't want to rush towards the end. We started to pack abit this afternoon and used up 3-4 boxes. More to pack tomorrow since won't be packing during weekdays at this point of time. Hope won't be too lazy :p

21st Nov 2013 - Polliwogs

On leave today as expected to reach home late yesterday night. HDB valuer came to do valuation again and agent was trying to explain to him the situation. After they left, went town council to settle off the fees till early Jan next year then we prepare to go out. 1st stop to Suntec to make payment at Cellini and exchange for vouchers. Next to office to collect the free gift (4 sofa cushions) as is too bulky for me to bring home. At the same time I took what I wanted to bring back from office since hubby is here. My workstation in office had became my temporary shopping storage hahaha. Last stop to Polliwogs for the boys to play since we haven't been there for quite a while. Reached home around 6pm, had dinner and rest for the night. Yeah, friday tmr, work 1 day and is weekends hehehe :)

20th Nov 2013 - Zoophonics School 2013 Year End Concert

A busy day started with preparing the boys to reach school by 1.30pm. After they left by bus to NUS UCC for rehearsal, we proceed to bank to buy cashier's order and also to change our bank account limits. We changed to new ATM card at the same time. Reached home and shower, picked up inlaws and had early dinner at CP. After that we proceed to NUS UCC and it was very crowded when we arrived. Luckily Melcolm's classmate mummy lead me to the correct queue. Graduating parents have priority queue and will be seated at the 1st few rows in front :) Enjoyed the concert for 2 solid hours. A touching moment when we saw Melcolm on stage with the graduation gown. A precious moment to remember for life ! Melson and his classmates did a great job in their dance and it was very entertaining since I heard alot of people laughing hahaha. Melcolm & Dana gave the introduction speech for their chinese dance smoothly too. Good job to the 2 of them. Concert ends around 9+pm and reached home around 11+pm with 2 cranky boys ! I also knock out and zz slightly after 12mn, feeling super tired !!!!!

19th Nov 2013 - Visit to our "future" home

ID requested for another site visit to our "future" home as the carpenter will be around to take all measurements. ID will start with detail drawing and also amend the 3D pics after today. Carpentry work will start after we confirm on detail drawing. Since there isn't much time for reno, we need to plan and do things in advance. Hope all will go smoothly as plan and no delay in the reno.

18th Nov 2013 - Concert Tickets

This will be the 1st time that both boys will be on stage performing together. Melson will be the first time having to dance on stage. Melcolm will be graduating from K2 and progress to P1 next year. It will be an "emo" night for us, watching him moving onto the next phase of studies. Oh ya, he's also the emcee for the Chinese Dance section. Hope he won't be too nervous until he forgot. Looking forward and can start to countdown from now :)

17th Nov 2013 - Sunday

Packing packing packing......

Managed to clear more baby stuff for my cousin today. 4 big bags + 1 rocking horse haha ! all big items and I think I have more to pass him when I pack as and when now. Clear abit of space in the storeroom and also kitchen :) More to throw and give away !! Brought all the things to AMK to pass to my cousin and after that had our 1st visit to a DBSS flat. House look really small although is the same as our current place. Workmanship of carpentry was not so good too. I only like the balcony basically. Expensive house to me for DBSS project ! After that went to AMK to stock up toiletries and just when we were about to leave, Melcolm said he want to go & buy KOI !!! He actually remember there is KOI there !!! I think now he will start to request to buy KOI whenever we go AMK Central. Will he be a bubble tea lover in future?? haha... Sunday is coming to an end and will be 3 working days this week. Counting down to both boys concert :)

16th Nov 2013 - Shopping for new house again

Another shopping day !! We went to Comfort Design @ Eunos to take a look and saw some high stools that we quite like. Took pictures of their clocks too and will ask ID any suitable ones. Haven't got time to go Molecule to take a look yet. After that went to Suntec to order Sofa & Dinning table & chairs at Cellini. Got a small side table too. Managed to get free gifts like sofa cushions and also loft bags hehe. Going to slowly pay and exchange for Suntec City vouchers since there's xmas promotion now wahaha, cheapo me :p Brought the kids to see some xmas deco before we head back home. They were waiting to go Orchard Road to see xmas lightings :) Me too :p
