Confinement Herbs

Went to buy all the confinement herbs today at Yishun ChongPang City with MIL. Didnt buy alot cos she already bought some for me. Still, it seems alot to me and spent around $190. Wonder will I be too heaty after taking all these until get constipation or nose bleed haha :p

After that have dinner at ChongPang City, so many things to eat ! Had zichar and crab beehoon, nice ! Before leaving bought 3 sets of homewear clothes for Melcolm, 3 for $10 nia :) Then hubby drove us to Bottle Tree Park to look see look see but at night dark already cant see much lol.

Bus Ride Home

Since am on hospitalisation leave, I meet my mum at Serangoon for lunch and pick Melcolm home from school. I knew I shouldn't walk too much now but I just hope to spend more time with him before the arrival of #2. I knew after that I will have lesser time to spend with Melcolm already.. haiz.. how sad rite..

Melcolm's CNY Haircut

Hubby actually wanted to style Melcolm's hair during CNY but no need liao cos MIL cut his hair until very short haha.

31 Weeks Shocked !

Around 5am, wake up as usual to go pee. After pee got pinkish stains, SHOCKED ! Wake hubby up and told him then continue sleeping. Difficult to get to sleep cos is like the same as what happen when I had Melcolm. Morning wake up as usual and called the TMC emergency number to talk to my gynae. She asked me to go down to her clinic and not to go work today.

Reached TMC about 9am, strap to CTG for monitoring of contractions. After CTG, see gynae and was told contractions was quite mild and she will give me 3 days mc to rest. After talking, gynae said she wanted a scan and checked for dilation just in case history may repeat itself and didi like kor kor want to see the world earlier. She checked for dilation, heng no more pinkish discharge and am not dilated yet. However, the scan shows that baby is ENGAGED and head is very very low for wk 31. She then changed her mind and gave me 2wks hosp leave as is too early for baby to be out now. At current, baby estimated weight around 1.8kg. If baby comes out too early and underweight, may need to stay in NICU :( This few weeks will be very crucial for me cos need to drag the date of the delivery. Since baby is engaged already, told gynae that I will try for natural birth !

Wish me luck. I hope I can still enjoy CNY.........

Loots for the day !

As Melcolm wasn't around today, we settle quite a few stuff today including his new bed earlier on ! I also washed quite abit of stuff for #2, hurray :)

*received his cny wear, quite tight fitting, hopefully still can wear during cny*

*collected the beanie pillows that I ordered for #2, got 2 long pillows for him instead as I felt the short pillow not much use. Bought 2 extra pillow case including a pink color one ! hehe*

*Went Pine Garden to preorder Pineapple Tarts but is already on waiting list. NO choice, place order under wait list with some other goodies and we bought lots of bread home this round instead of cakes. While making payment, think the cashier saw that we bought so much and offer to sell us 1 box of Pineapple Tarts ! Of cos we bought home and indulge and definately was nice ! Hope the Lapis and the cookies we ordered were as nice too. Oh ya, their bread was very very nice !

Melcolm & His New Bed !

Melcolm's new bed had arrived today ! Left him with my mum today so we can do some cleaning up when the bed was here. Will he be surprise to see his new bed tonight and those wall stickers that I stick on? Hope he love his new bed :)

It wasn't too difficult to get him to sleep on his new bed today :) I guess he must be tired cos my mum told me he wake up from his PM nap around 1+pm. He knew that this is his new bed as I kept stressing to him that his cot is OLD BED and his little bro will be using the OLD BED and he'll go mumbling "Melcolm sleep on the new bed, didi sleep old bed" haha.. Hubby and me decided that we won't be co-sleeping with him so that he will not have the habit of co-sleeping in future. Today marks the 1st day that he'll be sleeping alone at night in his own bedroom - 23rd Jan 2010 :) I hope he will be independent so in future he can take care of didi who will be sleeping in the same room with him :)

29 Weeks 5 Days

Counting down to last 10wks before the arrival of #2. Baby is 1.4kg already. Grown like 530g for the past 1mth ! Did SwapB test today to check for any infection cos I'm starting to have BH. Gynae was afraid that I may have pre-term labour again and will see me every 2wks starting from now. I need to monitor the number of times of stomach hardening a day too *super mafan*. I hope baby don't come out so early. Book the hosp bed today and was instructed to pack my hosp bag soon just in case waterbag leak again hehe. #2 had turned down but not engaged yet. There's still lots of water for him to move inside. Once again, Dr Wong asked me want to try natural birth or not. Told her that I'm opting for csec but still hesitating whether I should really try natural since baby head down liao. Hubby encouraged to go for natural also. I will see how is the next few checkup then decide pa. At the moment, CSEC !

#2 Stuff

Today I started washing hankys and rompers for #2. Am approaching 30wks soon so better start to wash bit by bit. With CNY coming soon, will be even more bz ! Happy to see all the cute cute rompers back to action again hehe....Thanks to GH for helping us shift the guest room wardrobe while me, melcolm, mei & ayden were at the playground. Next week Melcolm's bed will arrive, will we have a hard time getting him to slp on bed, shall see !

Melcolm turns 2.5yrs today !

Happy 30 Months old to Darling !!!


Time really flies and you are already 2.5yrs old now.....


Soon, you'll be promoted to "big brother kor kor" in another few months.... I'm waiting anxiously for that day to come !

Mac Happy Meal

Brought Melcolm to have his Mac Happy Meal breakfast. He can eat alot now. Although he finished 200ml of milk with cereal at home, he still can eat 1.5 piece of hotcakes + drink 3/4 packet of Magnolia milk ! Was surprised that he love plain Magnolia milk too ! Not necessary for me to buy choco flavour milk everytime liao hehe :)
