Melcolm Goes To School !

A day to remember - 4th Jan 2010, Melcolm goes to school ! I prepared his school bag in the morning with items like - waterbottle, snack box, communication booklet, extra pullup, wet wipes, A3 file. He seems happy to wear his uniform but lazy to carry his bag haha. I guess the bag is still too big for him that's why he felt rather uncomfortable. We reached school about 5mins earlier, the teachers took his temperature while we were outside. He started to cry big time and dashed to the door wanting to come near us. The teacher then carried him to the classroom and door was closed. He continued crying in class. Heartpain to see him cry but I rather he start early and get used to school. Loiter outside the school for about 15mins then we went to walk walk nearby. About 25mins later, the teacher called me and informed that Melcolm was still crying and they attached a teacher to calm him down. Glad that they update me again saying that he had settled down during snack time and had joined the class. We had our lunch nearby and went to pick him up. When the classroom door opened and he saw us, he was so delighted that he actually smile and clapped his hands, what a funny sight ! We then chat with the teacher for awhile on his progress and teacher said that he was alright after he saw his thomas bottle and teacher started to chat with him on thomas haha. The teacher also mentioned in the communication booklet to bring his fav. toy tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day with no crying. Still, I want to say, well done my boy as you are all alone with the teachers today :)
