31st May 2013 - Happy Happy !

Super happy today in office as HR sent out the email on VB *smiling big big* :) The amount is about the same as last year with a very slight increase. I can feel that most of my colleagues are happy to see that figure too keke... everybody start taking out calculator to press for a moment and that includes me too hahaha... waiting for official letter from HR next 2 weeks for PB... of cos hoping the more the merrier ;p

After work went to Five Stars at CP to get quote for Genting. Most likely going in July but 4d or 3d? hmm will think about it... looking forward to June and July *counting down*....

28th May 2013 - "Piggy" ears

Reached home and saw Melcolm's ear is red & swollen. It really looked like "piggy" ear. Not too sure his ear is bitten by what + he scratch and it got worse. Will try to apply cream for him and if it doesn't get better then will have to see PD already :(

27th May 2013 - Tim Ho Wan

Tim Ho Wan - a dim sum eatery that was just opened not long ago had became a big hit in Singapore. Been a michelin star restaurant in HK, you see human queues as early as when the restaurant just opened at 10am.

To avoid the crowd and queue, we chose to go on a weekday and reaching as early as slightly after 10am. To our surprise, the restuarant was already packed with people and we also need to wait for about 15mins ! Lucky us :)

1st impression of the restaurant was "cramp" ! All the tables and chairs are so close together. It was very noisy too. Staff were very polite. We ordered a few items and my fav was the pork bun, porridge and chicken feet. If we need to queue for a few hours just to eat, FORGET IT !!!

27th May 2013 - PTC

2013 will be the only year that we can arrange for Parent Teacher Conference on the same day. Let's talk about Melson's review first,

Teacher Leen said that he is a quiet boy. Both hubby & me were puzzled ! Does he really behave differently in school? I'm quite surprised to see that he is doing pretty well in school. Teacher Leen said that he is those more mature kids, wont run about in class :) He also have 2 best "galfriends" in class, named Zoe and Kaine. The 3 of them are always together, so cute !

Next, Teacher Therasa asked whether we see any improvement in Melcolm for the past 6 months. She said that Melcolm could pay attention in class better now. I asked her whether Melcolm is ready for P1 and do we need to send him for extra classes to prep him. Teacher said that Melcolm is ready for P1 already and there isn't a need for any extra classes as he's doing well in school :) He tends to be careless so he needs improvement in this area. Teacher also feedback that we should let him be more independent by giving him more responsibility.

Will take note of the feedback given by teachers and see them 6 months later :)

26th May 2013 - Sunday

Sunday usually is "homework" day for Melcolm. We seldom go out on a Sunday too. After he did his homework, we went for some grocery shopping. Guess what, Melcolm likes to sample food in NTUC !!! I have my 2 "helpers" to unload my trolley during payment haaa...  I wonder they will follow me to grocery shopping until how old ???

25th May 2013 - Elyssa & Elyott Birthday Party

We were invited to "double E" birthday party, also a chance to tour their new executive apartment since they just move in. Both hubby and me like the size and design of the EA but is really big to maintain without a maid. It is really spacious (4 bedroom) and I like it but need to consider carefully for our 2nd house if we want to upgrade. Meanwhile, shall stay put at current place as no rush to move yet. When the "chance" comes then will see how heee....

Both boys enjoy themselves and request to be back again. Luckily the slide that Melcolm's godma rented last for a month hahaha....
