Today is my last day of contract with my company, will be starting as perm with 6mths probation wef 1st Feb 08, yeah :) This morning went for the company medical checkup, everything seems fine but I still have 3kg more to lose to pre-pregnancy weight, i hope i don gain further.


Reached office in the late morning and colleagues are distributing mandarin oranges, finally some CNY mood. Got some angbao packets from the company as well. Also received call from HR to inform me to report to them 2mr at 9am as they need to pass me the new comer starter kit.


Late PM went up to our dept new opic which is still under renovation, nice view but still dono whats the view like from my seat keke. After that find my colleague n go home 2gether.


Went Hougang Mall after work as wanted to buy some cny goodies from Bengawan Solo. At the same time, took a cataloge of their disney cakes, i'm planning for Melcolm's 1st birthday celebration already hehe, most pro will be booking a chalet to party, had also told hubby abt the idea. So now need to find and decide which chalet to book, but all these will be done after cny lah cos now still too early. Who knows as time passes, we have new ideas again haha..

I'm Sick :(

I'm finally sick after working for 2wks. Caught the flu virus on Sunday night and was so tired to go work today. Decided to rest at home instead. Hope I will recover soon cos don 1 2 spread the virus to Melcolm. Nothing much to update, here comes Melcolm's pics, playing by himself in his cot,

27th Jan 08 - Sunday

Well well well, tis is a continuation of Saturday, can u believe it, i made puree for Melcolm during mid-nite haa.. cos 2mr wake up bz bz again, since am not sleepy so might as well. His menu for next few days will be porridge with brocolli & pumpkin puree... here's his food for this whole wk...

PM had feed Melcolm porridge with pumpkin and brocolli, he finished everything, phew, luckily he eat cos the vege taste was quite strong, good boy :) Will feed him brocolli for the whole wk to test for any allergy.

After lunch went to Hougang Mall shop shop while PIL's take care of Melcolm, managed to buy 2 tops and 2 skirts at abt $100, quite cheap hor, thks hubby for waiting for me :) notice my waist is growing horizontal now, jialets... luckily still can fit into the new clothes.. got a member card too frm my purchase, does tat means more shopping for me kekeke ;)

After tat went back home cos cleaner coming.. hubby then brought melcolm down to the playground for a walk till he tired haha..

26th Jan 08 - Shopping Day

Is finally Saturday !! Today me wanted to go shop for my cny clothes. However, aug mummy mentioned there's warehouse sales at Tampines, so tempted to go so ask hubby check out the place on friday nite, luckily he agreed to go but he say meaning that I may not have enuf time to shop.

Morning wake up oni at 10+am, Melcolm wake up late too, thanks baby !! Fed him and had brunch, hubby bought my fav Tiramisu but is still sitting inside the fridge cos I'm too full 4 it, thks hubby, muaks, will eat it 2mr :) here comes a shocking news in the morn after Melcolm had his bf, discovered he had 2 bottom teeth liaoz, wow, so surprise, n me keep wanting to c his cutie tooth haha.. cant take pics of his teeth due to his cheeky tongue..

PM Melcolm's godma came 2 pass me her mousy romper cos need me to exchange at JL. I oso passed her 1 of my maternity dress, hope she can wear. Mousy big big now yeah, can c mousy mama tummy pop out liaoz, blink blink.

Left for Tampines sales at abt 4+pm and reached there abt 5pm. Hubby and Melcolm wait for me at carpark while i cheong there n grab hehe.. Met 2 august mummies there too *wave wave to chatty & adeline*. Most surprise, met Melcolm's god-ma there too so happening hehe. Thanks hubby & melcolm for waiting for me at the carpark for an hour :) Here's my loot for Melcolm at the warehouse sales...

*Lastly, bought a sundress and a top for Melcolm's godma mousy, so sweet gal clothes, i'm so tempted to buy leh..

After Tampines, went JL to shop shop cos they having 20% off storewide. Bought toiletries, wipes, diapers and Melcolm's First Blocks too. In the end, realli no time to shop for my clothes but am happy for wat I had bought today hehe..

Reached home abt 11pm, so tired man.. n Melcolm is realli cranky lol.. hope have time to shop for my clothes 2mr....

24th Jan 08

2day received a call from HR to ask me sign the appt letter. Yeah, will start my probation wef 1st Feb 08. Although the probation was 6mths, i shall endure and see how it goes cos the company benefits were not too bad. So far my boss still quite ok but I've oni work with him for less than 2wks, hopefully he's realli good. However, i tink he is those quite strict and follow the book kind :( Waiting for wkns to come liaoz.. then will be rush hour for me again - going out, pack house, prepare puree to freeze, do laundry etc etc...

Melcolm on his High Chair

Took 2 pics of Melcolm on his high chair at MIL place last evening. Need to slot alot of stuff in btw the gaps of the high chair as it is still too big for him hahaha..

Today also received call frm agency while working saying that my company will convert me to perm wef 1st Feb 08. She say HR is preparing the contract for me so once is done, they will contact me, i shall wait for the time being :) So happy, no need to job search n interview again, yeah ;) Also went lunch with another colleague today, a nice lady and while chit chatting with her, she told me this company benefits is not bad as compared to other places. I am eagerly waiting for HR to update me hehe..

21st Jan 08 - 1st Day of Training Program By My Dept

Today is the 1st day of training program by my dept. Wake up earlier cos need to go Suntec Convention Centre to get ready the setup of the room. Only managed to reach there abt 8.30pm, luckily boss didnt say anything hehe.

Was feeling super tired today, must be due to not enuf sleep EVERYDAY :( Lunch time went walk walk at Iora at Suntec, hehehe, want to buy clothes if I continue working leh cos alot of my bottoms cant wear liaoz. Then went back opic pia my work again.

Evening time went back to Suntec to meet boss and pass him some stuff. Knock off and went Citylink G2000 collect my 50% off voucher. After that had dinner at MIL place and pick Melcolm home. MIL feed Melcolm 2 times of puree today and he finished them all, good boy :) I hope tonight I can slp early, if not 2mr I will b zombie again :(

20th Jan 08

Sunday morning rinse and shine. Today need to make puree and cook porridge for Melcolm. Took some pics of my "hardwork" again hehe. So happy, Melcolm finished all his porridge today and seems not enuf for him. In total abt 3-4 soup spoons. Heres some pics.

*Steam sweet potato, carrots and potato to grind into puree. *puree for this week to be passed to MIL and my mum, 5 cubes of carrot with potato and 2 cubes of sweet potato *the porridge that Melcolm happily finished them all

Also notice Melcolm's leg can touch the floor wen he's on his bumbo liaoz.. his legs must have grow again hehe..

Melcolm's First Overseas Trip !!!

Today is a very bz and exciting day. Yes, Melcolm is gona have his 1st overseas trip !! btw, we're gona attend Baby Elson 1st Birthday Party at JB hehe.

Early morning wake up and went supermarket buy some lean pork as plan to cook porridge with lean pork, carrot n potato for him on Sunday. After tat, had bf and get ready go ICA collect Melcolm's passport. Reached ICA abt 12+pm and waited until 2pm then leave ICA lol, super crowded.

Went Hougang Point change ringgit and tabao lunchy. Reached home oledi 3+pm and let Melcolm zzz awhile if not later he will cranky. Meanwhile I had lunch and get ready to go abt 5pm. Is the 1st time hubby driving in Msia so kinda excited too :)

We left house abt 5pm and took us abt 2hrs to reach fat cat house. Btw, fat cat is elson mama hehe. As usual, jam at Woodlands checkpoint and JB custom. After cross JB custom, fat cat car oledi waiting 4 us, so we tailgate her car to go her place. Melcolm oso had his longest car ride today, from widely awake until he zzz in car.

At abt 7pm, we finally reached fat cat house, hurray !!! Took many many pics too, pls take your time to view below. Left her place abt 10pm and reached hm 12+pm, all the 3 of us super duper tired lol.. Last but not least,

Is Finally Friday :)

Yuppie, today is finally Friday :) My 1st wkn after I start work. Today was rather bz in the opic, must finished everything by this evening as Monday my dept will be conducting their 1st training in SG. I already pre-empt myself that I need to OT.


Lunch time went eat Indian food with bosses and 2 jap instructors. Faintz, y the big boss oways have cravings for Indian food :( I oni ate abit and luckily hav some normal spicy food which doesnt taste so "Indian". Hee is big boss treat again, so happy, will I get somemore free lunch next week kekeke. After lunch accompany my manager to Harvey Norman to buy DVD burner for our dept then head back to opic.


Reached opic quickly cheong n do my work today as I don wish to OT till so late. Abt 5+pm, my manager seems like knew that I will not be able to finish my things and ask me whether need his help and I can stay back abit later or not. Told him no prob to stay back and he asked me do those that is required on Monday 1st and continue the rest next wk day by day *the training was the whole of next week*. Phew, luckily no need to finish all if not I tink i stay until 10pm mayb oso cant finish.


Stay back until abt 8pm and had a chat with my manager oso, had asked him wats my chances of converting to perm after 2wks and he said that he will arrange with HR to convert me to perm next week !!! wow, a big relieve after I heard that cos I don want to be jobless and go interview again. However, next week he will be super bz and i doubt he will hav time to change my employment to perm leh, i shall wait n c :) Next monday boss requested to report to work earlier at Suntec earlier if i can cos need to setup the training rm, another bz bz wk ahead for me.

Happy 6 Months Old to Melcolm

Happy 6 Months Old to Melcolm, my darling son :)

Today he wakes up abt 5+am mumbling to himself and fall asleep again until 7+am. Took some pics in the morn for him hehe,

He is so cheeky haha. He also gave mi n hubby a surprise today. When we 1 2 carry him, he will open his arms and lean forward wanting us to carry liaoz, so happy :) We oso notice that his looks slightly change abit too.

This morning reach opic and greet my manager "Good Morning" and guess wat he says :"Hows Melcolm today !!!" hahaha i told him today Melcolm was 6mths old and he say "Happy Birthday to Melcolm" faintz.. Today my manager boss from Japan came down, got free lunch again haha. He say he got craving for Indian food and treat us lunch at Suntec Muthu Curry, had curry fish and some other side dishes, the curry super spicy siah but is nice. I don realli like Indian food but lucky fish curry still ok for me. 2mr still got alot of work to do, hopefully no need to OT cos is Friday, veri long don hav tat TGIF feeling liaoz hahah.. looking forward to the wkns :)

Lastly, ordered 3 more bibs for Melcolm, can use during CNY, hehehe.
